Bona Vacantia

‘Bona Vacantia’ means vacant goods and is the name given to ownerless property, which by law passes to the Crown for the estates of people who die without a will.

Alpha phase

I was involved in a short, two-month Alpha phase proof-of-concept project, to explore the feasibility of using a GDS-style front-end for the new Bona Vacantia Case Management System. This was then tested with users, to compare it against a Salesforce CMS.

AxureRP 10

After investigating the possibility of building the internal, administrator-operated CMS with a GDS-style website, we pivoted and further iterated the prototype to focus on the citizen user, who wanted to claim an estate.

For both pieces of work I used AxureRP10 to deliver two fully-featured, fully-working prototypes.
